Artist

My name is Ginny Moore and I have always loved letters and making beautiful creations out of words. I consider it a God-given passion and talent. I have been doing calligraphy for years just for fun and to give to friends as gifts. When I did the calligraphy for my own wedding in May of 2004, I began formulating the idea for Calligraphy, Ink. and began taking steps toward starting my own business. Calligraphy, Ink. was created in 2005. I am so thankful to God for opening doors for me to use my talents in a way that will glorify Him.

I have been married for seven years now and we two little boys. We live in Louisville, Kentucky, where I am part of the local chapter of the Association of Bridal Consultants. I have previously been part of the Orange County and Los Angeles chapters of ABC when living in Southern California in 2007-2009. I was also a member of the Society for Calligraphy in Southern California during that time as well. Before that, while living in Nashville, I was part of the Nashville Calligraphers Guild. I have taken classes and have been privately tutored by Sheryl Bracey who has been a professional calligrapher for over 30 years and has studied under legends of our time, including Master Penman Mike Kecseg. I am also a current member of the International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers, and the Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH). I have my B.A. from the University of Kentucky.
